Inventory Refresh This Morning and Limited Updates This Week

YardSnipe’s live vehicle inventory is being repaired and refreshed this morning. I also want to explain why maintenance, expansion, and other updates may move more slowly over the rest of this week.

Inventory Is the Priority This Morning

I want to apologize for the delay in getting the latest inventory update live. Unforeseen circumstances have arisen that forced me to step away from YardSnipe for a few days while I handle matters that needed my immediate attention.

The inventory refresh is the priority this morning, and I expect the corrected and updated inventory to be live this morning once the refresh completes its safety and validation checks.

Those checks are important because YardSnipe is designed to protect the existing live catalogue when an inventory source fails, times out, or returns incomplete information rather than blindly replacing good data with a bad refresh.

YardSnipe Is a One-Person Project

YardSnipe is built, maintained, expanded, and operated by one person. That allows the project to move extremely quickly when I am able to give it my full attention, but it also means that when unexpected circumstances require me to step away, development and maintenance can temporarily slow down.

This is only a temporary slowdown. It does not change where YardSnipe is headed or my commitment to continuing to improve the platform.

Slower Updates Through the Rest of the Week

For the remainder of this week, I will continue handling maintenance and important fixes whenever I am able, but new development, expansion work, and some routine updates may take longer than usual.

By the beginning of next week, I expect to be able to resume full-time maintenance and expansion work on both the YardSnipe server and website.

Most importantly, I want to thank everyone who has supported YardSnipe, used the site, shared it with other people, followed the project, sent feedback, and continued coming back as it grows.

None of what YardSnipe has accomplished would have been possible without the community that has formed around it. Your patience and understanding while I work through this temporary slowdown mean more than I can properly put into words.

The inventory will be brought back up to date, the expansion will continue, and YardSnipe will keep moving forward.
